Hi, I’m Emily and I write and print Sweet Nothings

Sweet Nothings have been part of my printmaking practice since 2023. A place where I explore points of reflection and things to remember through risograph, cyanotype, and screenprint.

My Sweet Nothings series begin with typewritten words on sweet packets and grows into playful, reflective editions in bright colours.

I’m also co-founder of Something Good Workshops, a joyful Deptford-based studio sharing gateway-crafting and creative beginnings through workshops and original products that celebrate creativity and a painter.

I print my work at PageMasters in Lewisham, Sonsoles Print Studio in Peckham and from home.

I sell my prints here, on Etsy and via Holly&Co

My Approach

A white vintage typewriter with round gray keys and a gold brand logo, placed on a wooden surface, with hands approaching the keyboard.

Points of Reflection

It’s hard to say exactly how Sweet Nothings come about, but when the words come to me, feel poignant and stick - I pop them on a sweet packet

Expanded into Print

And then, from sweet packet, I utilise digital and analogue methods of printing to bring them brightly and boldly into the world, for sharing.
